In a recent far-ranging discussion on Dr. Jared Ball’ show imixwhatilike Paul Street, Ball, and Dr, Todd Steven Burroughs offered a mixture of appreciation and critique regarding David Garrow’s recent gigantic biography of Barack Obama. The discussants revisited the early on Left and Black critiques of the Obama phenomenon and presidency and found Garrow’s epic volume largely consistent with those critiques.
